Create a CNAME for GoDaddy
For Marfeel's CDN to act as a reverse proxy and route a publisher's traffic through the CDN, publishers may need to create a specific CNAME in their GoDaddy account following the below steps:
- Log in to your GoDaddy account.
- Click the My products tab.
- Expand the Domains section.
- Click the DNS button for the domain you are activating Marfeel's CDN package for.
- Click ADD.
- In the Type field, select CNAME.
- In the Host field, enter your domain.
- In the Point to field:
- Publishers under HTTPS:
- Enter ssl1.marfeelcdn.com if you added a TXT record ending in YlX.
- Enter ssl2.marfeelcdn.com if you added a TXT record ending in BAK.
- Publishers under HTTP enter nonssl.marfeelcdn.com.
- Publishers under HTTPS:
- In the TTL field which determines how long the information should be cached for, leave the default option (1 hour) unless you have customized settings to define.
- Click Save.
