Create a CNAME for GoDaddy

For Marfeel's CDN to act as a reverse proxy and route a publisher's traffic through the CDN, publishers may need to create a specific CNAME in their GoDaddy account following the below steps:

  2. Click the My products tab.
  3. Expand the Domains section.
  4. Click the DNS button for the domain you are activating Marfeel's CDN package for.
  5. Click ADD.
  6. In the Type field, select CNAME.
  7. In the Host field, enter your domain.
  8. In the Point to field:
    1. Publishers under HTTPS:
      1. Enter ssl1.marfeelcdn.com if you added a TXT record ending in YlX.
      2. Enter  ssl2.marfeelcdn.com if you added a TXT record ending in BAK.
    2. Publishers under HTTP enter nonssl.marfeelcdn.com.
  9. In the TTL field which determines how long the information should be cached for, leave the default option (1 hour) unless you have customized settings to define.
  10. Click Save.
