Set Up a Reverse Proxy Configuration

Customers that serve AMP pages under HTTPS protocol and don't use WordPress as their CMS need to distribute the content using a reverse proxy configuration.

To set up a reverse proxy, there are the following requirements:

  1. The customer has to forward the host header which will be amp.domain.com.
  2. The upstream server will be amp.bc.marfeel.com or amp.b.marfeel.com (depending on where the publisher's site is hosted).
  3. It's important to honor the cache header from the upstream in order to guarantee the correct invalidation of the content.
